Film: "Liste 16: Absolute Art Space“ directed by Edith Jud

LISTE – The Young Art Fair is the little sister of Art Basel. It was established in 1996 and hosts galleries that are too new/young/special to make it into the larger arena of Art Basel. The galleries that participate have to be younger than 5 years old and the artists they show, younger than 40. This film documentary, by filmmaker Edith Jud, tells the history of LISTE and about the space it occupies every year, the Werkraum Warteck. The screening will be followed by a discussion of the yearly ritual of art fairs in Basel and how they influence the rest of the year.

Running Time: 74 Minutes
Language: German/English
